Richard
Bellah has been practicing law since his graduation from law
school and admission to the bar. For over 20 years, Mr. Bellah has
handled a variety of civil and criminal matters at both the trial
and appellate levels with emphasis on personal injury and wrongful
death, family law, and general civil litigation.
Mr. Bellah received his law degree from the University of Arizona.
He received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University
in 1977. After law school, Mr. Bellah clerked for the Arizona
Supreme Court.
Among his current or former activities outside the practice of
law, Mr. Bellah served on the Glendale City Council for eight
years, including a stint as Vice Mayor. Mr. Bellah’s service
accomplishments include numerous board memberships such as Phoenix
Christian High School, Glendale Youth Center, Phoenix Christian Unified Schools Board, Maricopa
Association of Governments, and is actively involved with the Arizona Christian
School Tuition Organization.. He has served as a Justice of
the Peace Pro Tempore and on the Fiesta Bowl Board Committee. Mr.
Bellah has practiced Law since 1980 and very is active in his
church.
Mr. Bellah frequently lectures and gives presentations on various
issues and has published articles pertaining to legal matters.
As managing member of Bellah & Harrian, PLLC, Mr. Bellah is
admitted to practice in Arizona, the United States District Court,
the United States Tax Court, and the Supreme Court of the United
States.
